The client brought a Dell commercial workstation to Swayline with a clear brief: a professional, deep-customized operating system built on the mainstream Windows 11 LTSC image, plus a reliable one-key backup and restore workflow so the machine can always be recovered quickly.

What we delivered

The customization was performed directly on the target Dell workstation, validated on the actual hardware before sign-off:

• Windows 11 LTSC deep customization: component trimming, boot optimization and a cleaner runtime environment.
• Automatic logon, so the workstation is ready immediately at power-on.
• Power-loss protection (pure software solution): the system starts normally even after an unclean shutdown, with no repair-screen flow.
• Write-protection options, disabled Windows hotkeys and silent UAC elevation for a controlled environment.
• System updates disabled for long-term stability, with a vulnerability report provided.
• Pre-installed .NET and Visual C++ runtime environments, and fewer background processes.
• One-key backup and restore (Ctrl+F for factory reset; Ctrl+B/R for custom backup and rollback) from a hidden Linux partition.
